Another amazing milestone reached by our little miracle baby...Haven learned to crawl this weekend. We took a long weekend visit to Grandma Ione and Grandpa Chuck's house. Grace and Haven had nothing but spoiled rotten attention, but it must have paid off because Sunday night Haven started crawling. Now his technique is a little goofy, but he is a speed demon. I suppose that it doesn't hurt to have those big old thunder thighs.
Grace has quite a weekend herself. Aunt Cathy dug her childhood tea set out of mothballs for Grace to play with and she had a ball. She must have poured a gallon of "tea" on Grandma's carpet. Grace also had the spa treatment from Aunt Cathy and got her toe nails painted. Grace is one girly girl! She is oh so adorable!
Now that he is crawling Grace is living in constant terror of Haven. He follows her everywhere and he is always trying to touch her. On the way home from Grandma's we stopped at a hotel for the night. I was trying to read a goodnight story to Grace, but Haven kept crawling up onto her lap and making this weird screaming/growling noise right in her face. It was hilarious, but Grace didn't think so and started to cry. Then Haven sat back and laughed that deep gutteral laugh that he does when you tickle him really hard. He makes this scary baby monster face that just cracks me up. But Grace does not appreciate his humor so much!
Well, as you can see, I took lots of pictures and there is video of Haven crawling and Grace at her tea party at the end the post. Have a wonderful 4th of July!
