As I mentioned in this previous post, Grace has had a serious case of baby-itis. She's been asking, pleading, cajoling. We're not sure what has prompted such an extreme interest. I don't think she's reading my blog in her free time. At church on Sunday in the middle of the sermon she leaned over to me and asked when I was gonna get a baby in my tummy. A few minutes later she turned and asked Brian. I'm not sure how many of the folks around us heard her question, but I'm sure they got a good laugh. She has a million questions and just when you think she's gotten it out of her system, she comes back with more. Some questions that would make a lot of you readers blush. I hope all this interest in anatomy and physiology pays off and she actually becomes a doctor.
On Monday, when I got home from the first day of school, she ran to door and greeted me with a present. She had this drawing all folded up and wrapped like a present. Yep, that's me in the picture. She apologized for forgetting to give me hair. But she did remember the umbilical cord :0
It's a good thing we home school her. A public school teacher might not appreciate her drawing these kind of pictures in art class and sharing them with her friends. Holy Smokes, what's next!
